Description: Boris is a 28-year-young African Grey who sometime ago sadly lost a companion he was closely bonded to. Despite this, he is settling in well and showing lovely progress.
He enjoys time out of his cage and is happiest when he can interact with people. Boris has a clear preference for a female and has bonded well with his Safehouse mum. He is looking for a female main carer who is patient, understanding, and happy to let him go at his own pace.
Boris is on a seed diet with pellets being gradually introduced, which he is starting to accept. Although fruit and vegetables are offered daily, he currently shows little interest.
He can be vocal if he doesn’t get his out-of-cage time, though this has improved. Boris may nip at times, particularly when being returned to his cage but with calm handling and consistency he continues to make positive progress
