Description: Hello peeps it’s us Sonny and fudge and here’s a little something about each of us, think we will start with the sassy one first so here’s Sonny !!

Hi I’m Sonny and I’m a 22 year old hahns macaw, yes I’m part of the macaw family so don’t let my size fool you, my SH mummy says I’m such a chatter box and I love getting attention as and when I shout for it, I have a very large vocal range and speak all the time, I can say hello, you alright, good morning, nite nite, gis a kiss then and then I’ll do the kiss sound, I’m a good boy, no, that’s enough, that’s naughty, I also sneeze and cough too, I may be small in statue but definitely not small in attitude that’s for sure, my SH mummy says says I’m a fluent flyer so I will need somewhere to help me keep using my wings, I do bite but my SH mummy says says this is decreasing with my training and this will need to continue in my new home as will my target training as it’s keeps me busy and keeps me learning plus I get a yummy treat afterwards, I don’t have a preference will sit happily with male or female but just be wary as I do like to nibble and I just randomly fly off for a zip round the room and jet back to you, I am cage territorial and I’m also very protective over my little brother fudge and I have to be where he is at all times otherwise I get stressed really fast and become upset which I tend to get a little nasty but I’m happy being with him and you plus he’s a bit more hands on then me as I don’t like to be touched but my SH mum can currently get beaks rubs of my whilst in my cage which I’m starting to enjoy so who knows it could possibly turn to head rubs in time with the right home, now over to my brother fudge.

Hi I’m fudge and I’m a 16 yr old caique and I’m currently staying with my big brother Sonny with our new SH mum, now unlike Sonny I’m a bit calmer and quieter too I don’t really say much but I like to whistle and blow kisses I do say the odd word every now and then, I absolutely love having my beak rub and head scratched and I love playing with your fingers with my feet, I also like playing in your hair and getting myself tangled but only when Sonny isn’t too close as he isn’t keen on others touching me as he’s a very protective big brother, my SH mum says I’m such a cutie and I trust really easy but I do have a bit of a flaw which unfortunately I can’t be housed with big birds as I like to fly attack them especially amazons and bigger macaws I tend to dive bomb them by surprise and bite where ever I can grab and I also don’t like other birds on my cage and will give chase and bite if I can, I don’t seem to be bothered by the big grey or white birds apparently they are African greys and cockatoos or so my SH mum says but either way they don’t bother me so much, I can be a bit of a bully with Sonny but he is extremely mardy and my SH mum says typical siblings with the tit for tat, I’m happy to fly around but also happy to just sit with you and fall asleep I don’t have a preference either, I just go where the attention is but where ever I go so does Sonny and he isn’t as nice as me atm but he is learning so only time will tell.
