Description: Jasper is approximately 37 years old and has been with the same family until recently due to his owners health issues. Jasper hadn’t been out of his cage for some time until coming into safehouse and he is now enjoying sitting on top of his cage but hasn’t yet ventured off his cage yet or stepped up. He is now allowing head strokes which is amazing considering I was told he was a biter. He is a cheeky Chappy and will sit burping for you which definitely makes you giggle. He speaks in both a male and female voice and is starting to show his lovely character more and more. He has no issues with having a dog in the house and will happily throw food for it from the bottom of his cage before shouting ‘out’. He has been plucking his neck feathers but this will be due to the stress of the move. He loves his food and will grab the bowl to slam his door shut. He enjoys pomegranate in his chop and loves almonds as his favorite treat. He has also been enjoying having pellets which he hadn’t eaten previously and also enjoys his seeds. He doesn’t fly as his wings have been clipped at some point although he does look like he’s ready to take off at times. Jasper has enjoyed the company of my AG and I feel he would thrive with another bird in the house
