Species: African Grey Parrot

Description: JoJo is approx 25 years old.
She is such a sweet soul but unfortunately I’m not seeing her full potential as she does not like other birds at all so she very rarely wonders out of her cage despite her top and door both open from early morning until tea time so needs to be an only bird.
She has a very big vocab from mimicking a police car to saying good morning, good boy, good girl, she also like to throw in a few profanityies for good measure 😂
She has no preference to men or women, she just wants to be loved. She is wary of the younger more energetic children, but is ok with the calmer ones.
She won’t step up from her cage but will when away from it, this is because she sees her cage as her safe space.
I’m incredibly proud of her eating habits now, gone are the sunflower seeds and bad seed, and is now fully converted onto pellets which she enjoys with a raw morning chop and has a much healthier bespoke seed that I create mixed into to her evening cooked chops.
She does enjoy some fruits too but these are kept at a minimum due to the high sugar content. She isn’t a big fan of nuts either, believe me I’ve tried almonds, cashew, pine, walnut, all but peanut/monkey nuts as these are extremely dangerous to feed any parrot.
