Description: A big welcome to Sammy the african grey who came into us through no fault of her own due to sadly losing her owner of approximately 18yrs, she is such a beautiful girl and has so much love to give, loves attention and is very very vocal and has a lot to say, her name is Sammy due to her saying hi Sammy and she seems to respond well to it so it’s stuck, she loves head tickles and gets very excited when I go into the room atm she doesn’t seem to have a preference to male or female so that’s a bonus, she is very wary of hands atm but this is a work in progress and is starting to step up at her leisure, always take her lead on what she wants as she gets spooked very easily, she likes to meow and does like to imitate a puppy too lol, she loves to do fart noises at you aswell, she isn’t to fond of other birds if they come to close and will screech and flap off, she flys very well and will do laps of the room randomly but is always happy to sit at the window watching the day go by, we are currently working on her coming to you from across the room and you can see she wants too but not quite brave enough just yet so this will need to continue in her new home, I would suggest atm no little people as unfortunately she gets extremely stressed when a little one is close and will growl, she loves to give kisses every morning and every night which has become routine here for her and will say it’s time for nite nites and she will then settle down for the night, do you have the time and patience for this sweet little girl ?
