Description: Scooby is a very chatty chick, she will have you looking all over the house to find where an array of alarms, beeps and bongs are coming from! She has a fruity vocabulary and can tell you to eff or or sing sex bomb to you. We hear more and more each day! She’s confident in her cage and will happily explore the floor of her cage. She’s not a fan of toys but we have been sparking her interest by making her cage floor a foraging goldmine with apple tree twigs to chew and dried flowers to nibble. She’s experimenting with chop and will try fresh fruit & veg, grapes are a clear favorite. Scooby is a very timid girl and will be quite beaky to make you back off, but if you ignore this and give her some confidence she will reward you with love and snuggles! She will need continued behavior training to step up which will build a lovely bond and her confidence. Scooby is desperate to be part of the family and loves the interaction from lots of coming and going’s in the house. She seems to be loving the attention from our young boys (12/10/8yrs) and will allow the odd head scratch. Scooby is not phased by other birds and doesn’t batter and eyelid at two spotty dogs, she’ll call them over with a “here boy”. This little lady really deserve a loving family home. She seems happy with men or women but I’m inclined to say more a lady’s bird. If you are are will to put the time in to creating a bond with love, training and interaction, this girl has the potential to be a great companion.
