Here are Fruit & Nut black headed caiques 10-11 yrs old looking for a forever home. 

These two gorgeous black headed Caiques are Fruit and Nut. They don’t respond to their names as Fruit and Nut but they respond to “babies” for some reason. I think it’s because I called them that from day one. They are on a very good diet and this will need to be kept. They have fresh chopped up veggies in the morning, Harrison’s pellets in the afternoon and they also have some Johnson and Jeff Lean and fit thrown in with their pellets in the evening. They don’t have many fruits but they love blueberries and kiwi. Their favourite treats for training are pine nuts and pistachios. They step up for everyone in the family and they don’t have a preference for female or male but they do tend to spend more time with me. However to be responsible we would like them to go to someone without children under the age of 10 years old (only because they have taken a dislike to my 7 year old and will fly to attack his face). They need someone who can let them out of the cage for most of the day as that’s what they’ve been used to. Their last vet check up was great. They come with a large cage/perches/ toys and a travel cage. They say”step up” and know a few tricks and they can be a little nippy sometimes but they are the sweetest birds and very funny when they play. They love foraging but be warned… they love keyboards even more. They also really love shredding cardboard.
