Description: Hi, my name is Monty. I’m a gorgeous 8 year old blue and gold macaw. I’m a very friendly chap and enjoy a good head scratch (once I’ve got to know you). I prefer the company men over women, although this might be because I haven’t had too much interaction with women. I can be noisy, so please make sure this is something you (and your neighbours) can cope with, before offering me a home. I’ve not been around other birds before coming to my safe house. I don’t really interact with the other macaw here, but I’m not bothered by him either. We do shout to each other from our cages, and I have landed on his cage but that was more by accident lol. I can fly, but not great at landing. I do say a few ‘colourful’ words, but these have subsided since being here…. My favourite word is
