Description: A Special African Grey Seeking the Perfect Home.
Cleo is a 12-year-old African Grey with a huge personality and an even bigger heart. She is quite the comedian, always ready with a perfectly timed phrase or an inquisitive look. Her favorite things in the world? Grapes, head scratches, and being part of the action. Once Cleo trusts you, she is one of the tamest, sweetest parrots you’ll ever meet. She is incredibly intelligent, with a vast vocabulary and an almost uncanny ability to observe and understand her surroundings. She will study you and your environment with laser precision—nothing gets past her! Cleo was adopted by her current owner, a dedicated charity member, who fell in love with her and has provided her with a stable, loving home for years. However, due to significant changes in work and life balance, he is now searching for an upgrade home where she can have more daily out-of-cage time and dedicated interaction. The Right Home for Cleo: • A committed, experienced home where she can be out for a minimum of 4 hours a day—ideally much more. • A home where she can truly be part of the family, receiving the attention and interaction she thrives on. • Ideally, she would be the only pet, or at least in a home where other animals won’t restrict her freedom. • A patient, loving person or family who will continue to nurture her personality and intelligence. Cleo’s current owner is committed to ensuring a smooth transition. She will only be rehomed to the perfect match, with a proper handover, ongoing support, and her large corner cage included. This is not an urgent rehoming situation—Cleo has a forever home if needed—but her owner wants to put his deep bond with her aside in the hope of finding a place where she can have the time and freedom she truly deserves. If you believe you could provide Cleo with the home she needs, please get in touch.
