Description: I’m currently being assessed but here’s what we know so far.

Chico is getting used to his new routines and foods including chop and pellets. He loves his time out of the cage but at the moment just sits on top of the cage or on the door. He will step up occasionally but is still wary about you moving around the room with him and wants to go back to the safety of his cage. He has played with a few toys and is gentle when taking anything from your hands. He has shown a preference towards females so far and seems to be scared of males, moving away when they approach him. He will go back inside his cage for a nut, he likes pine nuts, walnuts and cashews but does tend to pace around when he is back in, not settling down until the lights are turned off. He has shown big improvements over the last couple of weeks but still a way to go until he is ready to find his forever home
