Species: Blue and Gold Macaw

Description: Rambo is around 3-4 years old and is extremely vocal, he loves to interact with you and play peekaboo. He says bye bye when you leave the room and tells you he’s a good boy. He enjoys walnuts as a treat and will have a try at his chop, picking out the bits he likes, mainly the fruit. He enjoys eating pellets and seeds but does tend to throw the seeds with his beak. He loves his time out of the cage and is getting more adventurous, he is enjoying swinging on the rope and will happily play. He isn’t showing any interest in playing with any of the other toys yet or climbing down from his cage and hasn’t made any attempt to fly. It’s still early days and although I was told he prefers men, I think he would adjust (slowly) with a female as his main carer as long as you set the boundaries he needs to gain trust and mutual respect
