Description: Alfie is looking for a new home where he/she can receive more time and attention. Alfie has been with me for about 7 months, and from what I was told, spent the previous 15 years in a room alone with a male owner.
Alfie is not overly hands-on but does show a preference for male company. The only person who was able to handle Alfie regularly was a 17-year-old boy, so a home with older children or a male carer may be best suited. With time and patience, this could improve.
Alfie enjoys flying and is very food motivated—especially fond of fruit like pomegranate, blueberries, and grapes. Veggies are a bit more of a challenge, so I’ve been using a homemade vegetable puree which is frozen in batches. Alfie isn’t particularly interested in toys but loves bath time and gets very excited for it.
He/she says “hello” and mimics laughter but isn’t very vocal otherwise.
