Description: I’m currently being assessed but here what we know so far.

Please meet Beautiful ‘Pearl’ the cockatiel who has been in her ‘safehouse’ for a week today! She is 11 years old & very sweet indeed, semi-tame but with more time & effort she will become particularly bonded to her human. Seems to prefer females at present but with time & attention sure she will be happy whoever makes a fuss of her.

She adores her food & enjoys apple. She loves to chew her wooden perches too!

Doesn’t pay much attention to my other cockatiels, will occasionally call to them & vice versa!

She enjoys soft head rubs, if you are a bit too firm, she will tell you with a little telling off!

She enjoys time out of her cage, observing everything going on. She isn’t fazed being in a busy household & takes no notice of my dogs – obviously kept seperate if Pearl is out of her cage. She is a lovely girl. Sleeps well all night, covered up & enjoys her breakfast.

She deserves a home where she will get lots of love & attention.
