Meet Precious, a gorgeous Ducorps cockatoo who is currently under assessment.
Precious has only been with us for 5 days, and she’s already settling into her Safehouse, where she’s being giving the time and care she needs to adjust to her new environment.
Precious came from a home where her elderly owner struggled to care for her, but with great trust, she reached out to us for help! Along with Precious, three beautiful birds were entrusted to our care, and we’ve been providing the previous owner with regular updates on how they’re doing, which brings her much comfort and happiness. 
Now, we’re looking for a very special home for Precious — a place filled with patience, love, and understanding. Someone who can offer her the time and space to gain trust and build a lasting bond. If you think you could be the one to offer her the loving home she deserves, please keep an eye out for her updates.
