Description: Hi Nelson here again, my SH mummy says I’m ready to open my wings and fly the nest to find my forever home, my SH mummy says I’m such a loving boy with so much love to give to the right person, I love being spoken and sung too and I even sing back, I love my head scratches and love sitting with you, I’m currently on a mixed diet of fruit and veg, pellets nuts and little amounts of seeds as I need to keep my weight up and this keeps me happy too so please don’t try to change it as I can be quite fussy with new foods, I do have a range of vocabulary, I like to say nice when I’m eating something delicious especially my toast in a morning nothing better then a slice of toast to start of my day, I’m only caged at night to sleep and I’m also covered too so I get some real shut eye, I like being out all the time, I will also greet you in a morning with a high ‘morning’, I also like to mumble away when your talking to me, now unfortunately due to a part of my past I’m very wary of men and I will bite if you get too close, this is lessening but my SH mummy says my main carer should definitely be female and she says unfortunately you will need to have some macaw experience behind you too as I’m still learning and am very unpredictable at times so please don’t apply if you’ve never dealt with a bird like me as its wouldn’t be in my best interest, my SH mummy says I deserve the best treatment and home we can find, that’s a home filled with love time and all the attention you can give me, I don’t like being left alone and tend to turn my attention to myself and start to destroy my feathers so a home where you are home most of the time will be perfect, I don’t like hoovers as the noise stresses me and I start shouting and try and hurt my self but my SH mummy is working on this with me by giving me a treat when I don’t react to the noise and this seems to be working ATM so this will need to continue in my new home, I am fully flighted too and love flapping across the room but please be aware alot of things spook me very easy and I just take flight so my new homes needs to have some space so I’m not crashing into things easily, I can be around other birds but can also become cage territorial when they get on my cage which will need to be monitored, I will need a cage when I come to yours BTW as I’m currently in my SH mum’s spare one so that can’t come with me l.
