Description: Hi it’s teddy here aka father ted and i’m a 23 yr old alexandrine parrot, I’ve come into the charity through no fault of my own, now I’ve settled a bit better I’m starting to get braver with my SH mum, love it when she strokes my toes through the bars as long as she does it slowly as I don’t do fast movements still and she gives the best treats and she says I take them like a gentleman, I love hanging of the top of my cage doing my batman impression and dancing whilst upside down, my SH mummy says silly mode has be activated when I do this, I’m still very quite but make the odd noise and squeaks every now and then, unfortunately I am not keen on the big birds here the big blue and gold ones they scare me when they come near me and I go for a crazy flap round the cage and go I to panic mode but I’m not so fussed about the littler ones, my mum says I don’t seem to have a preference and like to do my happy wings when people come in the room and I also like being spoken too as I do sit and listen, anyways that’s all for now but here’s a picture of my gorgeous face for you all too see and enjoy, I don’t yet have a preference to male or female, i just need the time and patience to adjust to my new home
