Description:  Rio is a very smart and cheeky little guy who loves to be the Centre of your world. He loves to be exploring and up to mischief wherever he can find it! He loves his cuddles with you and will sit for hours letting you give him tickles and waving to you. He loves dancing, waving, music and tries to sing too. His favorite saying are, Hi, Hello, Peek-a-Boo, even shouting his own name. When you sing to him he loves to sing along in his own fashion and blowing kisses to you! If your phone rings he shouts “Hello, Hello”!
He thrives on human company and craves attention and lets you know if he’s not getting even by shouting mum, mum, mum!

Rio is a great lover of food too, he will literally come over to where you are sitting down to see if there is anything on offer for him. He is not phased by other birds and is currently with an African Grey. Dogs pass his cage without even a second glance from Rio taking everything in his stride.

Rio loves entertaining himself too with lots of different activities and toys, he’s even shredded my potted plants so be ware nothing is safe when Rio is out and about!

Rio is ok with teenagers and doesn’t mind them around him when he is out.

Rio is a special bird who we believe was born with a cleft pallet so he tends to breathe slightly heavier. Rio has been to the vets and had a check-up with no other underlying health conditions and no need for on going medical care.
