Description: I’m currently being assessed but what we know so far.

This is LEWIS aka Louis.
Louis has recently come in to us. Sadly this is his 5th home in a year! We know nothing about him, so we are going straight back to basics. As he isnt rung, we don’t have any idea on age, or if he’s been dna tested.
Louis isnt bothered by Hector the amazon flying around and sitting on top of his cage. We haven’t tried them out together yet. But I cant foresee any issues.
Louis loves to whistle along with music, so I’ve bought him his own Alexa.
As with most african greys his favourite tune is the McDonald’s theme tune.
We have been working with touching his beak to my knuckles, but sometimes I end up missing a chunk of hand. So we’ve moved on to a clicker and touch stick.
We’re learning which foods he prefers. His absolute favourite is fresh honey on toast, which we get days after it’s been jarred.
I truly believe he is a sweetheart. He’s just been so unsettled and misunderstood for so long, he doesn’t know how to act, or who to trust.
He will need a home that has experience working with parrots, not just owning them. He’s a challenge, but amazing bonds are built through patience.
