Description: I’m currently being assessed, Hi, I’m Leah, a 4 year old girl who’s been with my safe house family for a few weeks. I’m slowly coming out of my shell and love dancing and head-bopping with the teenagers here. I’m very chatty and can say “Alexa,” hello, Leah, good girl – and even bark like a dog!
I enjoy a healthy pellet diet, plus veggies, nuts, fruit, and even chamomile tea. I sometimes pluck when nervous, but with reassurance I’m becoming much fluffier now and improving every day.
I can be shy and get scared of new noises so I’ll need baby steps, patience, and lots of time and encouragement. We’re working on head scratches, beak rubs, and toys. I’m now even starting to venture out of my cage.
