Description: Murphy is a vibrant, cheeky, and incredibly intelligent five-year-old macaw who brings joy, mischief, and endless chatter Murphy is bursting with personality, he’s playful, affectionate, and always up for interaction — especially if it involves cuddles (though his kisses can be a little… enthusiastic!).
Murphy loves to talk. Some of his favorite phrases include “Alexa, stop,” “Hi Murphy,” “Peek-a-boo,” and a cheerful “Hello!” whenever the doorbell rings or the phone goes off — he never misses a chance to be part of the action.
He thrives on human company and craves attention. If he’s not the center of it, you’ll hear about it — quite literally! While he sometimes screams when he feels left out, we’re working on that, and he’s making great progress.
Murphy is a big fan of food — his, yours, or anyone else’s. He’s not picky, and he’s been known to sneak into other birds’ cages just for a taste of their meals. Though he’s generally indifferent to other birds, their food bowls are another story.
He loves his toys, especially anything he can climb on or hang upside down from. Enrichment and stimulation are key with Murphy — he’s smart, curious, and always thinking. Nicknamed Houdini, he has a remarkable talent for escaping his cage in minutes, so enrichment and secure housing are a must.
Murphy also enjoys showing off his tricks. He proudly displays his wings, spins around, gives high fives, and blows kisses
He’s a confident, cuddly companion who will keep you laughing, talking, and on your toes.

Murphy needs to be a only bird where he can have all the attention.
