Description: I’m currently being assessed, but here’s what we know so far.

When Lenny came to me a couple of weeks back, he was afraid of absolutely everything, every move especially hands !! Hated being showered which he so desperately needed due to the state of his feathers as they were grimy and dark, his diet wasn’t the best but it’s a work in process he’s realised that the fruit and veg he’s offered is actually yummy and not something that’s going to hurt him, he has finally decided he feels safe enough to come down off the cage and explore (was caged bound for 4+yrs) hasn’t been back inside a cage since being with me bless him, he is so vocal and is picking up new words everyday and he’s finally allowed me to touch him !! Yes we’ve had head rubs which he throughly enjoys and even says ahhhh when he’s getting them which is absolutely amazing given the time it’s taken to earn his trust, he is such a beautiful soul, we are still on a learning curve with him and it’s a massive work in progress but I’m determined to get him through it and on to a brighter and happier life and best off all someone has realised that having a shower is one of the other best things in the world beside the head rubs lol xx keep an eye out for his next update as we go through this journey together
