Description: Kiwi is a beautiful Hahn’s Macaw with a huge personality packed into a small parrot body. He’s looking for a special home with someone who can give him the time, space, and attention he thrives on.

Kiwi is very much a shoulder bird. He loves being close to his person and wants to be involved in everything you’re doing—whether that’s walking around the house, doing chores, or relaxing on the sofa. If you’re looking for a companion who truly wants to be part of your daily life, Kiwi will happily take on the role.

He’s also a real chatterbox and full of character. Kiwi loves music and will happily dance and sing along when songs are playing, making him a fun and entertaining companion.

When he feels comfortable with you, Kiwi is incredibly affectionate. One of his favorite things is snuggling in and falling asleep tucked into your neck, which shows just how much he enjoys being close to his person.

One thing to know about Kiwi is that he really dislikes being in a cage. He does best in a home where he can have plenty of out-of-cage time and safe space to move around. Because of this, he would suit someone who is home often and able to supervise him and include him in their routine.

Kiwi would do best as an only bird, as he prefers to have his human’s attention to himself and thrives when he can form a strong bond
