Description: Meet Kiwi, a charming little Hahn’s Macaw with the sweetest squeaky voice and a huge personality! He’s a true Velcro bird who wants nothing more than to be by his person’s side, happily perched on your arm or shoulder all day if you’ll let him. Kiwi enjoys a healthy diet of quality parrot food, pellets, and plenty of fresh fruit and vegetables. He also loves playing peekaboo, says several words, and has the cutest squeak you’ll ever hear.
Kiwi is looking for an experienced parrot owner who has plenty of time, patience, and love to give. He forms very strong bonds with his person and will happily spend all day with you if allowed. Kiwi can be a bit nippy at times, so he’ll need someone who understands parrot body language and behaviour and can help him continue to build his confidence and settle into his new home. He will also call for you when you leave the room, so he’ll thrive in a home where companionship is part of everyday life.
Kiwi isn’t suited to a first-time bird owner. He needs a knowledgeable home that can provide consistency, understanding, and lots of affection. In return, you’ll gain a loyal, entertaining, and incredibly loving little companion.
