Description: Hi I’m Jim,
I’m a blue fronted Amazon and around 16-18 years old. I’m a very chilled boy, I like to sit on top of my cage and watch what is going on. I’m not fussed by other birds or small dogs.
Safehouse Mum says I’m such a good boy, she says I like my food and don’t stop eating.
I prefer Men over Woman. Woman are alright to give me treats and talk too but I don’t like them coming too close or trying to touch me. I love my safehouse Daddy and his the only one I let give me head scratches, I’m not ready to step up yet but with the right man and time I could possibly consider stepping up.
I like to be around people and get excited when we have lots of noisy little people (not too little though) singing and talking, I like to shout at the them and make myself heard in their conversations but I don’t like them touching me either and sometimes try to bite if they get too close.
My safehouse family have fallen in love with me and say that I’m a lovely, beautiful boy.
I’ve settled in really well here and they say I’m coming out of my shell more and more each week, I’ve even swapped my seed diet for pellets. I like to be covered over at night, In the morning I sometimes say “Good morning” when im uncovered.
