Species: Senegal parrot

Description: Billy is 15+ years old. His old owner can’t remember how old he was when she got him, but has had Billy for 15 years. Billy loves coming out of his cage and sitting on your shoulder, he loves giving you lots of kisses. He enjoys having tickles on his neck and will bow his head when you put your hand next to him. Sometimes he will nip you, but it’s not hard and doesn’t hurt. He steps up really well, both inside and outside of his cage. Billy is happy with a quiet or busy home. We have a busy home here and he doesn’t mind it at all. He can be loud in his cage, but once he’s out, he’s very chilled out. Billy would love to have someone that will spoil him with all the tickles. He is okay with other birds, but a bit nervous. He does get annoyed if a bird goes on his cage. Billy wolf whistles, he can say Billy but we are trying to understand what else he can say. He mainly chirps and whistles.
